Kindred Families represents nannies and families looking for part-time, full-time, and temporary care. Our guided process makes it easy for nannies and families to find their ideal fit.

Family Process

Families interested in working with Kindred Families must first submit a Family Inquiry Form. Once we have received this, a staff member will contact you to discuss all of your needs in detail. From here, you will be sent a Search Agreement that must be signed and submitted, along with a non-refundable deposit of $500 in order to begin your search. This deposit will be applied to the Placement Fee once a customized Work Agreement has been signed by both the family and the nanny.

Family Requirements

Hiring a household employee comes with many responsibilities. Therefore, families must be willing to commit to the legal requirements that come with being a household employer. This includes but is not limited to: compliance with state and federal tax and labor laws, and offering paid sick days.

Kindred Families is proud to partner with HomePay. HomePay has been the leading tax, payroll, and labor law provider for household employers since 1992. HomePay offers happiness-guaranteed service in all 50 states.

Family Guarantee

Kindred Families remains confident in our ability to provide successful placements, however, we understand that the unexpected can happen. That’s why we are proud to offer families employing a part-time or full-time nanny, a one-time 12-month replacement guarantee. This means that we will replace your nanny at no extra cost to you if things fall through in the first year. For families employing a temporary nanny, we offer a one-time 30-day replacement guarantee.

We also offer support and assistance in building a strong nanny file to present to families.
